Vallet scholarships for 193 outstanding students
TTH.VN - Vallet scholarships have been continuously sponsored by the Vallet Family (France) since 2001 to help Vietnamese students with special talents or excellence in researching and studying.

On the afternoon of September 1, at the Duyet Thi Duong Theater, Hue Citadel, the Organization for Science and Education "Meet Vietnam" granted the Vallet Scholarships to excellent students, who strived and overcame difficult circumstances to gain outstanding achievements in the national and international contests. These students are studying and living in the province.
Since 2007, "Vallet Scholarships" have reached more than 25,000 students, worth about VND 170 billion; since 2001, this scholarship has been continuously granted to many excellent students of Thua Thien Hue. This year, 130 students studying at Hue University and 63 Thua Thien Hue high school students receive the scholarships (each scholarship is at VND 16 million for students in university and 9.5 million for students in high school).

On this occasion, the "Meet Vietnam" honored three Thua Thien Hue students who had exceptionally excellent achievements: Nguyen Hy Hoai Lam (International Informatics Olympiad 2017 Bronze Medal), Truong Dong Hung (International Biology Olympiad 2017 Gold Medal), and the "Google boy" from Quang Tri who has just become the champion of Road to Olympia 2017, Phan Dang Nhat Minh.
