Vicoland and JICA sign cooperation program on "Classification and management of waste at source"
TTH.VN - On the afternoon of October 7, Vicoland Development and Construction Group Joint Stock Company (referred to as the company) and Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) signed the cooperation program on "Classification and management of waste at source", for the purpose of building a civilized life in the apartment block, preserving urban landscapes and environment.

Mr. Ho Van Thu, Deputy General Director of the company said that the signing of the cooperation program was part of the plan to preserve the apartment’s values, towards building a civilized and worth-living Vicoland.
Supporting the construction of sorting waste at source at Vicoland apartments is part of the 3R promotion project, which contributes to the development of a civilized living environment in the condominium. Residents are trained with knowledge on waste classification; supported with collection and sorting facilities when they participate in the project.
The 3R promotion project is one of two pilot projects of Vietnam’s Solid Waste (CTR) project which has been implemented in Thua Thien Hue province for nearly 3 years. The objective of the project is to sort waste at source, including business establishments and organizations with 6 sub-activities such as collecting waste batteries at Hue Urban Environment and Public Works State Limited Company, La Residence hotel; classifying waste in the Public Administration Building, Nguyen Tri Phuong secondary school, Ben Ngu market and Department of Construction.
