“Vietnam-Laos special tie gets increasingly stronger”

That is what was affirmed by Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Bui Thanh Ha at the reception of Salavan provincial delegation led by Deputy Secretary and Deputy Governor of Salavan province - Buathong Khounyotpanya on the morning of January 4.

At the meeting, the leaders of the two provinces informed each other of the achievements recently obtained by each locality, particularly in the areas which the two provinces have been joining hands to develop.

The province of Salavan has been very truly supportive to and always facilitates the search for and storage of the remains of Vietnamese martyrs, experts and volunteer soldiers in Laos; and creates favorable conditions for Thua Thien Hue people who are living or doing business in Salavan.

Hopefully, this bond will continue to be promoted and sustained forever,” stated Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee.

On behalf of the Party, government, and people of Laos, Deputy Secretary, Deputy Governor of Salavan province Buathong Khounyotpanya presented a donation of USD 12,000 to Thua Thien Hue province in relief of the consequences of the recent devastating Typhoon No.12.
