The passion for antique clocks (8 pics)

Besides other antiquities like books, and royal furniture, etc., recently, some antique clock lovers in the Ancient capital land have spent a lot of time, enthusiasm and even money to collect various kinds of antique clocks, originated from many countries around the world. Among them, some antique clocks, dating back to more than 100 years, are not cheap at all, from several million to several dozen million VND, and even hundreds of million VND.

The advantage is that Hue was the capital of the country, where many churches, and royal families, etc. located; thus, it is not too difficult to collect antique clocks. However, the collectors must be really passionate to know clearly their origins, usages, as well as how to repair the broken ones.

There are not many major collectors; however, the collections with more than 100 antique clocks each, including all kinds, periods, and origins, etc., of two collectors Ton That Huynh Phu and Huynh Minh Huy will be an interesting destination for people who have the same passion.
