Youth Gala welcomes New Year 2019 

That was the name of a program organized by the Provincial Center for Youth Activities in coordination with Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Thua Thien Hue and Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Hue University on the evening of December 31.

The Youth Gala was attended by Mr. Nguyen Nam Tien, Standing Member of Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of Vietnam Fatherland Front of Thua Thien Hue province; Mr. Phan Xuan Toan, Standing Member of Provincial Party Committee, Chief of Mass Mobilization Commission of Provincial Party Committee; representatives of related departments and agencies; and thousands of members of Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, students, and people in the province.

Musical performance opens the Youth Gala

The Youth Gala took place with a series of exciting activities, in which the highlight was a featured art program welcoming the New Year, with art performances whose contents were rich and colorful, under the theme of praising the love for the homeland and the country. In addition, there were also “Sale 4 Share” fair; “Youth’s Colors” costume festival, “Youth’s Dance” festival, DJ electronic music exchange, and martial arts performance, etc. At the “Sale 4 Share” fair’s booths, students had the chance to exchange handmade products made by themselves.

Typical youth works in 2018 are honored

On this occasion, the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Thua Thien Hue awarded the title to seven typical youth works.

The Youth Gala closed with thousands of members of Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union and students together counted down to welcome New Year 2019 in the moment of transition between the Old Year 2018 and the New Year 2019.
