Zhishan Foundation gives over 600 scholarships to students in difficult circumstances

TTH.VN - On September 20, the provincial Children’s Fund coordinated with Zhishan Foundation to give scholarships in the second season in 2018 to poor students overcoming difficulty in Phu Vang, Phu Loc districts and Huong Thuy town.

Students in difficult circumstances in Phong Dien district receive scholarships from Zhishan Foundation

Previously, on September 19, those organizations granted scholarships sponsored by Zhishan Foundation in Phong Dien, Quang Dien, Huong Tra and Hue city.

The students attending primary schools and secondary schools are received the scholarship of 600 thousand VND per student, and high school students are received the scholarship of 800 thousand VND per student. Furthermore, the sponsor also gave awards to the students passed the high school entrance exam and students with good, excellent study achievements. In this season, there are 455 good and excellent students receiving the encouraging awards. The total number of scholarships granted in this season is 629 portions. The total expense of scholarships and awards is over 502 million VND.

According to the provincial Children’s Fund, there are 629 poor students overcoming difficulty in the provincial area receiving the sponsor of Zhishan Foundation. The project patronizes students from primary school to university graduation. The support’s contents include 12-month scholarships, awards for good, excellent students, providing learning equipment, uniforms, furniture, personal belongings, etc. The average for support level is 3,1 million VND per student per year.
