Provincial leaders with the opening ceremony of the Provincial People's Committee Operation Center
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Chairman Phan Ngoc Tho said that building e-government and smart cities has been a consistent and synchronous goal of Thua Thien Hue province during the past years. However, in the process of implementation, the province is facing many challenges such as infrastructure has not met development needs, resources for infrastructure development, socio-economics and high technology are still lacking.
“To solve these problems, the Provincial People's Committee has cooperated with AIC Group to build the Provincial People's Committee Operation Center. After coming into operation, the Center acts as the brain to synthesize, command and administer all activities of the province through data collection, standardization, analysis, processing, and reporting, which effectively serves the management and administration activities of the leaders of the province, departments and localities” emphasizedChairman of the Provincial People's Committee.
The Provincial People's Committee Operation Center will help provincial leaders and leaders of departments and agencies to closely monitor many issues related to life and socio-economic issues such as quality of health services, information of environment, the situation of handling administrative procedures, monitoring of traffic, monitoring of natural disasters, storms and floods and especially that of people's reflections on the inadequacies occurring in the area.
This is an important input data source for the provincial leaders to make quick and accurate decisions and respond quickly and address promptly people's aspirations.
The Provincial People's Committee's Operation Center is connected to the National Reporting Information System, the Center for Information, Direction and Administration of the Government and the Prime Minister.
