Provincial People's Committee issued a plan to review and award the titles of "People's Artist" and "Meritorious Artist"

Accordingly, application for consideration for the title of "People's Artist" and " Meritorious Artist" should be sent to councils at grassroots level no later than June 20th, 2021.

The local councils will then compile and submit these applications to the provincial council by July 15th, 2021. The Department of Culture and Sports is tasked with being the standing agency of the provincial council.

The titles of "People's Artist" and " Meritorious Artist" are to honor qualified artists with superior moral qualities, outstanding contributions and typical artistic talents for their specific art genres.
