Calling it melaleuca mushrooms because this kind of mushroom grows on the layer of leaves falling in acacia melaleuca forest, and it just springs up after the first rains of the season.

Melaleuca mushroom’s cap is light-purple round shape. The life cycle of the mushrooms is quite short, just from five to seven days, after that, it will be withered.

Melaleuca mushrooms cost quite cheap, just from 20 thousand to 30 thousand VND per kilogram. This kind of mushrooms can cooked into diverse dishes such as soup, stir fry meals, or porridge.
