The main events include the contest film screening program, the panoramic program, the press conference combined with the opening ceremony, and the announcement and award ceremony. Side events taking place in Hue include the Film week to welcome the film festival, the exhibition on "Thua Thien Hue, destination of filmmakers", the photo exhibition on "Safe destination initiative - Hue and you", and the programs of Ao Dai fashion show and cinematography, and community Ao Dai, etc.

The province has carefully considered and offered various options to proactively and appropriately respond to the pandemic’s development.
