Thua Thien Hue used to be where President Ho Chi Minh and his family lived, worked, studied, and participated in many revolutionary activities for 10 years, leaving behind a system of extremely valuable memorial relics in the province.

For their typical special values, the Prime Minister issued a decision to recognise the system of relics commemorating President Ho Chi Minh as a special national relic site on December 31st, 2020. The four relic sites include President Ho Chi Minh memorial house at Mai Thúc Loan street, Quốc Học High School, President Ho Chi Minh memorial house in Dương Nỗ and the Communal House of Dương Nỗ village.

To celebrate the special national relic ranking certificate, the Ho Chi Minh Museum in Thua Thien Hue organized an exhibition to introduce the system of relics commemorating President Ho Chi Minh in the province with the theme "Visiting his childhood places".

The exhibition displays over 150 images, documents, and artifacts. The exhibition focuses on introducing the four relics now recognized as special national relic sites, in addition to presenting an overview of President Ho Chi Minh's childhood with his family while working, studying, and participating in patriotic activities in Hue.

On this occasion, the Ho Chi Minh Museum in Thua Thien Hue in cooperation with Quoc Hoc Hue High School for the Gifted organised a ceremony to inaugurate the renovation work of "Uncle Ho and Quoc Hoc Hue School's tradition" memorial house. Over the years, the memorial house of Uncle Ho and the Quoc Hoc Hue school's tradition has become a place to educate historical values, traditional culture, and President Ho Chi Minh’s examplary patriotism and studiousness for generations of Quoc Hoc Hue students.
