To ensure the safe vaccination, the Health Department, the Center for Disease Control (CDC) of the province, as well as localities, and schools, etc., not only carry out the thorough screening but also make the full preparation on facilities and equipment, etc., to be ready to respond if accident occurs after the injection.

According to the provincial CDC, in the first phase, students in the age of 12-17 in the province have been vaccinated against Covid-19, equivalent to over 40.000 doses. Through monitoring of post-injection reactions, it was found that most of the children had mild reactions. With the prompt consultancy and tackling, no case of severe reaction was recorded.

In the second phase, the province is distributed 46.800 doses of COVID-19 vaccine for children under 18. From December 2, the vaccination program for children started until the vaccines run out.

The Thua Thien Hue Weekly would like to introduce some pictures taken about the COVID-19 vaccination for students in the first phase. This series of photos are taken by our collaborator Dang Tuyen at Phan Dang Luu High school, Tran Cao Van secondary school, and Nguyen Tri Phuong secondary school.
