Especially, there were many new poems by Hue poets, among which there were poems as fresh as minted with the mist of the first full moon, such as Tran Van Liem’s Mat biec soi ve, Phan Van Thinh’s Trang mua Nguyen tieu (the first full moon season), Nguyen Thien Nghi’s Mua mua len men (fermented rain), Vo Que’s Rung cam nguyet cam (The Lute’s Good Vibes), Nguyen Van Vu’s Mua Nguyen tieu moi (First full moon rain), etc.
According to Le Tan Quynh, Chairman of Thua Thien Hue Writers' Association, the Nguyen Tieu poetry program has been organized for many years with many different themes. In general, poetry pesented on Vietnamese Poetry Days all express new aspirations and tenderness about the love of the homeland, country and people.
The years of 2020 and 2021 witnessed extreme difficulty, with many challenges and losses for the country due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Within such difficulty, the Vietnamese spirit once again manifested its noble cultural beauty and strong will to live, which has been proven throughout the nation's history. Therefore, the Vietnam Writers Association had “Live and Hope" as the theme of the 20th Vietnam Poetry Day in 2022. This is also the theme of the Nguyen Tieu poetry program organized by the Thua Thien Hue Writers' Association this year.
