The Vesak week this year takes place from the 8th to the 15th of the 4th lunar month, with the main ceremony on the 15th.

After two years of simplifying activities to celebrate the great festival due to the influence of the COVID-19 pandemic, this year's Vesak week will be held with many diverse and rich activities such as: Setting up the altar; decorating 7 lotus lanterns on the Perfume River and Buddhist symbols; the traditional rite of Bathing Buddha ceremony to pray for a peaceful country, a peaceful world; holding flower floats and flower boats, and droping lanterns. Morover, many other meaningful activities will be also organized in this occasion, including chanting, giving talks, preaching the Dharma; laying memorial wreath at the Martyrs' Monument, Martyrs' cemetery; visiting and presenting gifts to the martyrs' relatives and families with meritorious services to the country, wounded soldiers and martyrs' families...

Activities during the celebration of the Great Festival will be guaranteed to be safe in terms of pandemic prevention and control.
