From pagodas to the streets, beautiful flower and flag decorations can be seen everywhere. The Executive Board of the Buddhist Sangha of Thua Thien Hue province also organized the placing of 7 giant lotus flowers on the Huong River to welcome the 2566th Vesak.
The 7 lotus flowers represent the 7 pure steps of the Buddha. All 7 giant lotus flowers are displayed and lit every night on the Huong River until the end of the great Vesak celebration.
