The Son River is considered by various visitors as a pristine river, a magnificent landscapes endowed by nature for the land of Quang Binh. The upstream part of the river is 7.729km long, flowing underground in the limestone mountains belonging to Phong Nha Ke Bang National Park, and streaming out from the mount of Phong Nha Cave located on the land of Phong Nha village, Son Trach commune, Bo Trach district, Quang Binh province.
Tourists coming here for visiting will be impressed by the beauty of the river, from its water color, the mountains, to the scenic banks. The river flows and winds along the mountain foot and “hugs” the fields of corns and bananas next to the scattered but peaceful hamlets. Both sides of the river are peaceful scenery. All of that have made a poetic watercolor painting, a beautiful and peaceful life amid the vast wilderness of mountains and forests.
Hue News would like to introduce you a series of photos about this poetic river taken by Huy Phuong, a photographer.
