The folk dance performance attracting the participation of 500 female members

This is the second program aiming at kicking off a series of events within the Ao dai Festival "A glimpse of homeland", taking place from October 5 to 15, a celebration to mark the 92nd founding anniversary of the Vietnam Women's Union and the 12th anniversary of Vietnamese Women's Day.

Recently, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Women's Union has launched a folk dance movement among female cadres and members. The movement has spread widely, blowing a wind of change into the movement of physical exercise and sports among female cadres and members in the whole province.

So as to keep responding to the folk dance movement, as well as spreading the image of the ao dai in the community, 500 female members gathered at the Noon Gate Square to participate in the folk dance performance on the background of songs praising the homeland, and the image of Vietnamese women.

Via the program, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Women's Union would like to convey and transfer the message of pride in the Vietnamese national ao dai, and the pride in historical and cultural relics of Hue; at the same time, honoring cultural and spiritual values, contributing to build the image of Thua Thien Hue women in the new era, who are both physically and mentally healthy to fulfill their responsibilities to themselves, to their families, to the society, as well as to their homeland and country.
