On the morning of November 16th, at the University of Sciences, Hue University, a book festival themed "Hue - Cultural Heritage" was held to celebrate the 40th anniversary of Vietnamese Teachers' Day - November 20th.

At the book fair, the University of Sciences in collaboration with the Vietnam Book Culture and Knowledge Joint Stock Company introduced more than 2,000 books, espeically fine book titles about Hue and cultural heritage, along with books and documents of different types and genres for study and research purposes.

The book fair also held a book exchange program, specially featuring the speaker - teacher, Associate Professor Dr. Do Bang, Vice President of the Vietnam Association of Historical Sciences, Lecturer in the Department of History - University of Sciences. He came to talk about the book series "Đại Nam thực lục" (The Chronicles of Đại Nam) written by the National History Bureau of the Nguyen Dynasty.

Assoc.Prof. Dr. Do Bang shared a lot of meaningful information about the 10 volumes of the book series to celebrate its 60th anniversary since the first publication in Vietnamese in 1962, thereby helping students and readers gain more insight into this significant historical work.
