Two delegations discussing on cooperative strategies

Over the past 10 years, the TranTien Foundation and the University have shared a harmonious and lasting collaborative relationship in terms of training and professional activities. Preserving that tradition, in 2023, the two units will continue to collaborate and organize plastic surgery programs for residents in the Central and Central Highlands regions, who register for medical examination at Hue University of Medicine and Pharmacy Hospital.

On this occasion, the organizers together with experts from the University Hospital conducted medical examinations and consultation for 51 cases and surgeries for 21 patients. These are cases of congenital and acquired maxillofacial malformations, scar from trauma, burns, cleft lip and cleft palate, congenital malformations of limbs such as hands or feet deformities, paralysis of brachial plexus, peripheral nerve graft. In addition, people in need of cosmetic surgery such as breast, nose, eye, abdomen reconstruction or plastic surgery such as stretch marks, ulcer scars, soft tissue defects, etc., can register for this surgical program.

In addition to the surgical program, doctors from TranTien Foundation and the University Hospital participated in the continuing medical education (CME) program on plastic surgery as presenters. The CME aims to update guideline and professional experience for doctors specializing in Orthopedic and Reconstructive Surgery.
At the meeting, the two units had discussions about the EHR (Electronic Health Record) system and the application of this data system to medical examination and treatment procedure at the hospital.
