With the theme “Lotus colorizes Hue”, Hue Lotus Festival 2023 honors the value of lotus in the spiritual life of Hue locals as well as helping tourists to experience, discover, and feel the hidden and present values of lotus in daily life.
In addition to the opening ceremony of Hue Lotus Festival 2023 and the music performance on the stage on Bong Lai Island, there will be various main activities in the framework of the festival, including the preparation for the opening of booths and the sales activity after the opening; the activity of boating to pose for photos on the lotus lake; instruction for making lotus tea and enjoy lotus tea; making 2 dishes from lotus at the booths, the talk show “Hue Lotus Cuisine”, together with many other activities on Bong Lai and Phuong Truong Islands, etc.
The festival aims to hold cultural tourism events, creates an attractive destination for domestic and international tourists; contributes to well implementing the work of tourism communication and promotion, attracting visitors to Thua Thien Hue in 2023. This is also a program to respond to Hue Festival 2023, associated with the orientation of the four-season festival, at the same time kicking off the chain of events and summer tourism activities of Thua Thien Hue in 2023. The Hue Lotus Festival 2023 will be able to affirm and honor the specialty and the brand name of Hue lotus; attracting investors and businesses to Hue to research investment opportunities, exploiting and developing tourism and services; promoting the images of Hue Lotus and Hue lotus cuisines to tourists.
