With the achievement of winning the gold cup first prize in team debate and the gold cup first prize in team-based essay writing, together with individual gold medals (including a gold medal in individual debate and a gold medal in individual essay writing) in the junior division, Phan Ngoc Anh Thu and her teammates won the ticket to enter the global round which will take place in Bangkok at the end of August.
World Scholarship’s Cup is a world’s large academic contest for junior students. The contest is held with the aim to create an international playground for them to express themselves and challenge their knowledge in different fields.
Each year, the contest attracts the participation of thousands of students from over 65 countries all over the globe. In the framework of the World Scholar’s Cup 2023 in the Central Vietnam region with the theme “Reconstructing the Past”, participants are comprehensively assessed their knowledge and skills through 4 parts including individual knowledge, team-based essay writing, team debate, and team knowledge.
