The exhibition, which is organized by the Provincial History Museum in collaboration with the Nghe An Museum, aims to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Japan (1973 - 2023), and the 118th anniversary of the rising of Dong Du movement (1905 - 2023).

At the exhibition, the public has an opportunity to enjoy nearly 70 precious images and documents on the two themes of "The friendship between Phan Boi Chau and Doctor Asaba Sakitaro in the Dong Du movement", and "The friendly and cooperative relationship between Vietnam and Japan".

Mr. Nguyen Duc Loc, Director of the Provincial History Museum, said that this was an activity to commemorate and pay tribute to the patriotic figure Phan Boi Chau, who dedicated his life to the cause of Vietnamese nation's struggle against the French colonialism in the 20th century; thereby, continuing to propagate, promote, preserve and foster the value of Phan Boi Chau memorial site, contributing to promoting the education of patriotic tradition, revolutionary struggle, and raise the national pride among people of all strata. At the same time, it consolidates and develops the friendly and cooperative relationship between Vietnam and Japan.

Mr. Loc also said that in the coming time, the Provincial History Museum would cooperate with the Provincial Department of Education and Training, the Provincial Association of Historical Sciences, and the Vietnam - Japan Friendship Association in Thua Thien Hue Province, as well as strengthen the cooperation with the Phan Boi Chau memorial site in Nghe An Province and the Nghe An Museum to boost the propaganda and promotion of tourism development.

The exhibition is open to the public until July 20.
