This creation camp has the participation of 36 artists coming from various localities in and out of the province; it lasts until the end of July 29. The works created by the artists will reach the guarantee of intellectual property rights according to regulations. Furthermore, the District People’s Committee will also protect the copyright of works created by the artists. These works will then be given to the district to display at the Co Tu ethnic cultural village statue garden.
According to the organizing committee, the 1st Co Tu ethnic traditional sculpture creation camp of Nam Dong district in 2023 aims to further preserve and promote the values of artistic culture and the identity of the Co Tu ethnic group, thence, raising the responsibility for the preservation, inheritance, and promotion of cultural values to meet the enjoyment demand of people.
The creation camp is also an opportunity for Co Tu ethnic group to promote and introduce to tourists and the public their special cultural activities.
