| The exhibition introduces 60 works about revolutionary cultural and artistic activities in Hue over the past 78 years |
The exhibition introduces to viewers 60 works recording the images of the continuous flow of revolutionary culture and art in the cultural land of Hue during 78 years of operation of the Provincial Union of Literature and Arts Associations, formerly known as Thua Thien Cultural Federation for National Salvation (1945) up to now it is called as Thua Thien Hue Union of Literature and Arts Associations.
Mr. Ho Dang Thanh Ngoc, writer, Chairman of the Provincial Union of Literature and Arts Associations shared that Thua Thien Hue Union of Literature and Arts Associations has a great number of writers of over 780 members. In the team, there are many seasoned writers and many authors of national and regional statures; at the same time, the union is always supplemented with young and potential members.
The images of the Union of Associations organizing congresses, holding award ceremonies of Hue Ancient Capital for Culture and Arts; meeting all members; holding seminars, talk shows, as well as signing cooperation on culture and arts among the 3 cooperative cities, etc., give us the clearer picture of the union’s development. The image that the leaders of the Union in the Presidium of the Vietnam Union of Culture and Arts Associations posing for photos with the leaders of the Party and National Assembly, etc., shows that Thua Thien Hue Union of Literature and Arts Associations is always by the side of the country in major events of the country’s artist community.
