“People love storks, storks come. Storks love people, they come back”, I read it when watching animated footages of hundreds, even thousands of storks chirping to call each other to fly back to the good land. Storks like friends.
Over years, the living environment for birds in Thua Thien Hue has gradually improved, provincial leaders have also kept the “good land” by requesting localities prevent hunting and trafficking wild birds and wild animals. As a result, Thua Thien Hue has witnessed the return of many migratory birds to the province, especially to the areas with trees, rivers, and the places having abundant food sources, etc.
Through the lens of Tran Thien, a photographer, Thua Thien Hue Weekly would like to invite you to contemplate the liberal and friendly beauty of wild birds and storks on the fields and in the sky of Hue. That is also a way to spread the message: Protect wild birds and the environment around us to create a really green, clean, and sustainable Hue City.
