Leaders of Hue City and relevant departments cutting the ribbon to open the exhibition space

Mid-Autumn Festival has become a traditional beauty of the Vietnamese people, associated with the festival night on the fifteenth day of the eighth lunar month, the customs of carrying Mid-Autumn lanterns around, unicorn dances, feasting and enjoying the moon cakes, etc.

In order to recreate the cultural beauty of celebrating the Mid-Autumn Festival of Hue people, the Center for Culture, Information and Sports of Hue City introduces the exhibition and installation space with the theme "Colors on the fifteenth day of the eighth lunar month", featuring typical images of the Mid-Autumn Festival such as unicorns, drums, lanterns, animal-shaped doughs (tò he), moon cakes, and at the same time introducing a number of crafts related to the Mid-Autumn Festival.

The exhibition space aims to provide children with better knowledge and experience about the colorful and vibrant Mid-Autumn Festival. Besides, visitors at the exhibition space can re-discover their childhood memories with the traditional Mid-Autumn Festival trays, animal-shaped lanterns, typical unicorns of Hue, animal-shaped figurines, familiar moon cakes, and also the bustling sound of unicorn drums.

The exhibition space is taking place from September 27 to October 15 at 25 Le Loi, Vinh Ninh Ward, Hue City.
