Leaders of the Faculty of Education at Hue University honoring Dr. Tran Quang Hoa.

With the topic "Geometric Descriptions in Commutative Algebra," Dr. Tran Quang Hoa, along with Prof. Marc Chardin from France, surpassed thousands of scientists to receive this prestigious award. The award ceremony took place at the French Academy of Sciences on October 17.

Dr. Tran Quang Hoa's research delves into theoretical mathematics but also has specific applications, such as "rational mapping" used for modeling objects like cars, airplanes, or applications in 3D printing technology.

The research journey began in 2014 when Dr. Tran Quang Hoa went to France as a research fellow at the University of Paris 6. Under the guidance of Prof. Marc Chardin, he published three articles in reputable mathematics journals. To this day, Dr. Tran Quang Hoa continues to collaborate with Prof. Marc Chardin and a group of French experts and professors from the Mathematics Department at the Faculty of Education to research and implement projects.

The "Boosting Bilateral Cooperation in Research with ASEAN Countries" award is presented by the French Academy of Sciences to honor collaborative projects between France and the seven Southeast Asian countries (Vietnam, Thailand, Cambodia, Indonesia, Singapore, Philippines, and Malaysia) across all fields. Its aim is to promote the development of bilateral scientific research projects between France and ASEAN countries.

At the award ceremony, Dr. Tran Quang Hoa shared, "I truly feel very honored and proud, and I consider myself very fortunate to receive this award. The award affirms the effective research collaboration in the field of mathematics between France and Vietnam in general, and the Mathematics Department at Hue University, in particular. The award serves as a great source of encouragement and creates opportunities for research collaboration and knowledge exchange between experts in France and my colleagues in Hue."
