Trying on a Yukata outfit brought to Vietnam by the Japanese delegation |
Dozens of pictures of Japan and its people were introduced to the public from November 4th at Ho Chi Minh museum, located at No. 7 Le Loi Street, Hue city.
The event was part of a series of activities for the "Fukuroi Day in Hue", organized to celebrate the 50th anniversary of establishing diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Japan. It was held by the Vietnam - Japan Friendship Association in coordination with the Fukuroi - Vietnam Friendship Association.
The exhibition introduced viewers to beautiful landscape photos of the “Land of the Rising Sun”. The visitors were also able to immerse themselves in the Japanese cultural activities, such as trying on a Yukata outfit brought to Vietnam by the Japanese delegation, sipping a cup of fragrant Japanese matcha tea or making paper cranes to pray for world peace and to hope for a stronger tie between Vietnam and Japan.
The exhibition runs until November 14th.
Within the framework of “Fukuroi Day in Hue”, other interesting activities would also be held, such as the screening of the documentary film "Following the footsteps of Dong Du", offering incense at Phan Boi Chau's Memorial House, and the Japanese speech contest at the University of Foreign Languages and International Studies, Hue University.
