MrPhan Thanh Hai, Director of the Department of Culture and Sports, presenting certificates of commendation to numerous groups and individuals who excelled in organizing the Reading Cultural Ambassador Contest for the period 2019 – 2022

 This information was disclosed by the Provincial General Library on the morning of November 25 at the summary session of the Reading Culture Ambassador Contest in the period 2019-2022.

From the pool of entries, the library selected the most outstanding entries to compete in the national finals organized annually by the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism.

Among them, there were several entries receiving high rankings at the national level. In the most recent year, 2022, four contestants secured awards, including one B prize, one C prize, two Consolation prizes, and one Group prize.

According to the leader of the Provincial General Library, the Reading Culture Ambassador Contest in 2019 to 2022 period has become an annual event.

The achievements of the contests have affirmed the significant role of reading culture in developing critical thinking, creative abilities, nurturing personality and spirit, forming habits, and instilling reading skills in the younger generation.

Schools in the region consistently submitted a substantial number of entries, with many participants earning provincial and national-level awards. Notable schools include Hai Ba Trung High School, Quoc Hoc High School for the Gifted, Phu Bai High School, Dang Dung Junior High School (Quang Dien District), Chu Van An Junior High School, Ly Thuong Kiet Elementary School (Hue City), No. 2 Tu Ha Elementary School (Huong Tra Town), Da Le Elementary School (Huong Thuy Town) …

On this occasion, the Department of Culture and Sports also awarded certificates of commendation to numerous groups and individuals who excelled in organizing the Reading Culture Ambassador Contest from 2019 to 2022.
