Dr. Le Ba Khanh Trinh shared with teachers and students useful knowledge and experiences in conquering mathematics; and his process of teaching and leading the team to cultivate mathematics for the country.
Sharing experiences in teaching and learning mathematics, Dr. Le Ba Khanh Trinh said that the journey to conquer mathematics was not too difficult if students had a passion for this subject. In addition to basic knowledge, learners need to focus, practice, and not to be subjective; and it is important to foster the interest in mathematics. It will be very boring if students only study the available math problems.

He also shared stories about teachers, lessons, and memories when he was a student at Quoc Hoc Hue High School for the Gifted; at the same time, he answered questions from teachers and students about knowledge of mathematics, teaching and learning it in countries around the world, and gave advice to students specializing in mathematics in the process of choosing a profession, etc.
Dr. Le Ba Khanh Trinh is a former student of Quoc Hoc Hue High School for the Gifted. He was dubbed the "golden boy of Vietnamese mathematics" in the early 1980s. He was also a participant in an international mathematics competition, and won one first prize out of 8 first prizes over participants from 40 countries; and at the same time, he was the only person to win the special prize for the best solution of the competition.
