From December to January each year, the flowering of cherry blossoms in Sa Pa signals the arrival of another spring.
Situated at an altitude of about 1,800 meters above sea level, OoLong tea hill (Sa Pa town, Lao Cai province) is taken care of by the local H'Mong people.
Cherry blossoms on OoLong tea hill are planted alternately along the paths around the hill. The vibrant blossoms stretch across the lush green tea hills, resembling soft pink silk ribbons. This picturesque scene captivates anyone who comes here, making them forget their way back.
When the cherry blossoms bloom brilliantly, adorning the background of lush green tea hills, the scenery becomes even more enchanting and majestic. This picturesque view leaves a lasting impression on everyone who comes here, and on misty or low-cloud days, tourists can witness a truly spectacular beauty.
The two most suitable time frames for tourists to capture photos of OoLong tea hill during the cherry blossom season are early morning (around 6:30 - 8:00 am) and before sunset (around 3:00 - 5:30 pm). During these times, when the sun is low, the slanting sunlight highlights the pink hues of the cherry blossoms.
Hue News would like to introduce to readers a photo reportage on the flourishing cherry blossoms heralding the arrival of spring by the photographer Le Tan Thanh.
