These efforts align with the commitment to “be close to people and understand them”, at the same time accompanying them in all aspects of socio-economic development.
Through the photos of mountain-to-sea scenes taken by photographer Hai Duong, Thua Thien Hue Weekly would like to share and spread the beautiful images, fostering warm civil-military relations in the border and coastal areas.
The photographer Hai Duong shared: “In the mountainous district of A Luoi, border defense soldiers, along with village elders, and local leaders often visit households in the remote areas to disseminate state policies. With the remote villages, it took a great effort of the soldiers to get across the forests and wade across the streams to reach them. The bond between the military and the civilian in the remote border areas becomes stronger through such interactions”.
