Officials cutting the ribbon to open the Fair

Taking place from September 16 to 22, the Fair gathers more than 230 booths from 231 organizations and businesses across the country. In addition to displaying and introducing economic, cultural, and social achievements, the fair showcases trade products, handicraft items, OCOP products, and specialties from Thua Thien Hue and provinces in the Central - Central Highlands regions and the country as a whole. The event is also an opportunity to share experiences, promote trade, expand investment cooperation, link production, and broaden the market...

According to Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Phan Quy Phuong, the Fair not only provides a platform for businesses, cooperatives, and production facilities from various localities to connect for investment cooperation, business, and brand promotion but also supports the campaign "Vietnamese people prioritize using Vietnamese goods." Additionally, the Fair contributes to attracting tourists, promoting the landscapes, people, and world cultural heritage sites of the ancient capital to friends far and wide.

To support and share the difficulties and losses experienced by the people of Northern provinces affected by Typhoon No. 3 and the floods caused by the typhoon’s aftermath, the organizers have replaced cultural and recreational activities with charitable activities throughout the Fair.

After the opening ceremony, as part of the Fair, the 2024 Supply and Demand Connection Conference between Thua Thien Hue province and other provinces took place on the afternoon of September 17.
