The 7th Ancient Capital Literature and Arts Awards continued to receive the response of Thua Thien Hue artists with many registered highly selective artworks. These works demonstrated quality contents and artistic values, as well as profound humanitarian themes, reflecting the quality of their contribution to the development of literature and arts made by the province’s robust community of artists over the years.

From 225 works of 111 authors and groups of artists, the 7th Literature and Arts Awards selected 75 most excellent works winning the awards, including 7 A prizes, 18 B prizes, and 32 C prizes. In which, in the field of architecture: 4 works /1 group, 5 authors; Dance: 6 works /1 group, 5 artists; Fine arts: 10 works /10 artists; Photography: 9 works /9 authors; Theater: 6 works /5 organizations and 1 individual; Music: 9 works /9 authors; Fold arts: 2 works /1 group of authors, 1 individual; and Literature: 11 works/11 artists.

According to the assessment of the organizing committee, the works and creative projects, and researches registered in this award showcased distinct features and unique creativity; The quality of several fields such as Architecture, Literature, Fine Arts, Music, and Theater, etc. have improved significantly. Especially, 7 works winning the A prizes were exemplary works of respective fields. These pieces focused on themes related to hometowns and the people of Vietnam, and Thua Thien Hue local people.
