Colored perspective of the new Y-bridge

According to the plan, the project will be supported by provincial budget funds and implemented over three years with a total investment of more than 29 billion VND. The proposed location for the Y-shaped bridge is at the intersection of the Perfume River and An Cuu River, with one side connected to the area near the park and Perfume River Theater, and the other side to Da Vien Islet, which has recently been renovated.

The Y-shaped bridge is designed for both pedestrian and bicycle traffic, with a width of 4.2 meters and a length of 47.4 meters. The bridge will feature a steel lattice floor structure, with its surface paved in ironwood; and, the banisters using bronze railings, creating a unique experience for tourists walking along the Perfume River. It will also allow boats to pass beneath easily. The bridge will include resting spots where visitors can take a break and enjoy the view or take photos. The slope of the bridge will be designed to accommodate easy access for both cyclists and people with disabilities.

In addition to being a new highlight for the scenic area along both sides of the An Cuu River, the Y-shaped bridge will connect the walking route on the southern side of the Perfume River from the Perfume River Theater to Bui Thi Xuan Park, making it easier for residents to walk or cycle.
