The program was chaired by the Vietnam Union of Science and Technology Associations (VUSTA), and it was held by the Institute of Innovation and Digital Transformation in collaboration with the Vietnam Automation Association.
The recognition of Top Vietnam Industries 4.0 aims to assess the efficiency of digital transformation and innovation within organizations and businesses. At the same time, it also highlights the typical successes and pioneers in the development of Industry 4.0 and digital transformation in both public administration and businesses. Furthermore, it also enhances the application of IT, digital technology, digital transformation, and innovation, helping to promote the competitiveness of businesses and develop digital economy; creating a playground for enterprises to exchange, learn from each other, and share their experiences in building smart factories, implementing smart production, Science & Technology research, innovation, as well as improving product quality and management capabilities.
The program also aims to connect state management agencies, the community of scientists, institutes, and universities with businesses; providing support, consultancy, technology transfer, and digital economic development.

Mr. Vo Quang Huy, Deputy Head of the Hue Monuments Conservation Center reported that the center has recently implemented various digital technology solutions and science technology solutions to enhance heritage values, improve management capacity, and build a digital transformation framework. The center has also built up an architecture on application and technology, and promoting existing cultural heritage values. At the same time, it also serves as a bridge to connect Hue’s heritage with domestic and international friends in a professional and modern manner.
The Vietnam Top Industries 4.0 in 2024 is an annual program that started in 2022, sponsored by the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Ministry of Industry and Trade, and the Ministry of Information and Communications. This year, the organizing committee selected 30 entries from 200 submissions across 4 categories, including Top 4.0 Industrial Businesses of Vietnam; Top Science & Technology and Innovation Organizations, Businesses; Top Businesses with Smart Digital Products and 4.0 Industrial Technology Solutions, and Top Organizations and Localities Proactively Implementing Industry 4.0 and Digital Transformation. In which, Hue Monuments Conservation Center was honored in the category of Top Science and Technology and Innovation Organizations/Businesses.
As part of the program, there was also a scientific conference with the theme “Digital Transformation and Green Transformation in the Industry 4.0”. Addressing the conference, Mr. Vo Quang Huy, Deputy Chief of Staff of Hue Monuments Conservation Center shared about the orientation to develop cultural industries based on digital technology and innovation.
