Huong Tra town leaders participate in planting trees

The road will be about 200 meters long and located on the peak of Hon Vuon mountain, covering an area of approximately 0.4 hectares. Over 150 flowering trees will be planted in the upper layer, including Lim Xet (Peltophorum pterocarpum), yellow flame trees, red flame trees, and giant crape-myrtle. The lower layer will feature Sim flowers (Rhodomyrtus tomentosa).

Hon Vuon mountain, standing at about 300 meters above sea level, is located just 20 kilometers from the center of Hue city and about 5 kilometers from the Hue bypass road. Visitors can explore the area by various means of transportation, such as cars, motorcycles, bicycles, or on foot. Due to its beautiful landscape and convenient transportation, Hon Vuon has become a popular tourist destination in recent years, attracting many domestic and international visitors.

To plant trees and flowers on this mountain peak, the Bo River Protective Forest Management Board has implemented suitable technical measures, including selecting tree species, loosening the soil, retaining moisture, and providing nutrition for the plants. The project aims to establish a beautiful flower road on the mountain peak by 2026, creating a unique highlight for visitors and residents of Hue.
