Awarding to the highest ranked examinees of the 2024 enrollment

In this new academic year, the University of Foreign Languages welcomed nearly 1,900 new students who successfully enrolled.

In her speech, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Thi Hong Nhung, Rector of University of Foreign Languages, emphasized that in the past three years, the university has adjusted its training programs to shorten the required credit accumulation period to 3 - 3.5 years. This change aims to provide students with more time for internships at businesses and reduce the time needed to complete their university program.

To effectively achieve the goal of enhancing educational quality and accelerating program completion, Assoc. Prof. Pham Thi Hong Nhung encouraged students to actively develop essential skills such as planning, teamwork, critical thinking, and information evaluation. These are necessary requirements for both current and future careers. With the rapid advancement of artificial intelligence, students should leverage new technologies, free software, and applications to support their studies. Early exposure to modern technologies helps students develop crucial skills for their future careers.

At the ceremony, the University of Foreign Languages awarded certificates of recognition and scholarships to the highest ranked examinee of the university and those who ranked highest in the 2024 enrollment for each major. Awards were also given to students who achieved the highest results in their fields of study based on high school academic records in the 2024 admissions process, as well as to students with outstanding achievements in academics and extracurricular activities.
