Beautiful Hue under the rain

“Just one rain in Hue makes it be winter” is how Minh Tu, the journalist, borrowed the ancients to describe Hue rain in the long-running series titled “The awaited rains” in Tuoi Tre newspaper. It could also because the rains always bring a sense of melancholy to Hue, even the rains in the middle of summer days.
However, it seems that Hue is no longer as melancholy on the days being drenched with rain. Along with images capturing Hue's daily beauty during the first rains of the season sent to Thua Thien Hue Weekly, Bao Chau, the photographer shared: “Hue's rains are often associated with poems and sad songs. But I really like Hue on rainy days when visitors are still bustling and the locals are still making a living as usual. Hue is changing every day, becoming greener, cleaner, and brighter, and Hue is no longer the melancholy Hue of past rainy seasons.”
