The Conference held at Hue University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Hue University

The conference brings together over 400 participants with more than 150 scientific presentations from both domestic and international experts. This is an opportunity for doctors, surgeons, and healthcare professionals from around the world to update their knowledge, exchange experiences, and seek research collaboration opportunities.

As part of the event, Continuing Medical Education (CME) courses was also held on October 25. These CME courses provide in-depth knowledge in the following areas: CME 1 on arthroscopic shoulder surgery led by Dr. Bernard Lee Chee Siang from Gleneagles Hospital, Singapore; CME 2 on hand and wrist surgery by Professor Kevin C. Chung, a leading expert in hand and wrist surgery from the University of Michigan, USA; CME 3 on the diagnosis and treatment of intertrochanteric femur fractures led by Associate Professor Dr. Le Nghi Thanh Nhan from Hue University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Hue University.

At the conference, participants shared many outstanding achievements in the field of orthopaedic injuries in Vietnam, particularly the application of modern technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI) in diagnosis and treatment, 3D printing technology, and Navigation systems in surgery, as well as the use of new biomaterials. Additionally, there are new advancements in arthroscopy, joint replacement, and microsurgery. These important achievements help our country approach advanced medical standards globally, providing optimal solutions for patient healthcare

Through VOA 2024, the Vietnam Orthopaedic Association continues to assert its pioneering role in enhancing professional standards and international cooperation, providing modern and effective medical solutions for patients in Vietnam.
