This year, the ASOCIO DX Award is presented in 10 categories, including Outstanding Technology Enterprises; Smart Cities; Digital Government; Digital Education; Digital Healthcare; Cybersecurity; ESG (Environment, Society, and Governance); Digital Ecosystem and Solutions; Women in Technology, and Partnership Relations.
Vietnam had 9 excellent representatives honored at ASOCIO DX Award 2024; in which, Thua Thien Hue was awarded ASOCIO Smart City Award, recognizing the province’s effort in building smart urban and enhancing digital transformation.

In recent years, Thua Thien Hue has actively implemented various programs, including e-government, smart urban, and digital transformation; and the province has achieved many impressive results on national rankings. These efforts have brought to the province many prestigious awards such as Asia Telecom Award 2019 in the category of “The best creative smart city project”. Hue-S platform and provincial digital services have also received Sao Khue Award for five consecutive years.
Especially, in 2022, Thua Thien Hue was honored to receive ASOCIO award in the field of Digital Government. At the same time, the province also achieved a notable ranking of 4th out of 63 provinces in the Digital Transformation Index in 2022, and was in Top 1 nationwide in the Provincial Governance and Public Administration Index (PAPI) in 2023.
Hue-S platform, which is considered a symbol of success in the work of e-government construction and digital transformation of Thua Thien Hue, has reached numerous achievements. All provincial smart city services have been integrated into this platform, enabling effective connections to locals and businesses. Up to now, Hue-S has been downloaded over 1 million times, with over 900.000 registered accounts, including over 800.000 accounts are locals.

ASOCIO DX Award is the region’s leading prestigious Information Technology award, which is held annually by ASOCIO to honor individuals, organizations, and businesses with excellent achievements in Information Technology application and development. The awards are presented to candidates from 24 member economies of ASOCIO, and only these members have the right to make nominations.
