The Organizing Committee awarded the First Prizes to the authors and groups of authors at the contest

Speaking at the closing and awarding ceremony, Mr. Ho Dac Thai Hoang, Chairman of the Provincial Union of Science and Technology Associations, and Head of the Organizing Committee, affirmed that after being organized for 14 times, the Provincial Technical Innovation Contest has promoted the mass innovation movement in the field of science and technology. Many topics are new, creative, and have been effectively applied to production and life, contributing to the socio-economic development, and implementing the task of industrialization and modernization of the country.

The contest is also an activity to honor and recognize the contributions of scientific researchers, workers, farmers, and innovators who tirelessly dedicate themselves to research and innovate. Their efforts are aimed at finding practical technical solutions that yield high economic and social efficiency.

With the diversity of fields and topics, the entries in this year's contest are not only highly creative but also make practical contributions to the economic, social, health, and educational development, as well as environmental protection of the province.

This year's contest received 115 registered entries across 6 different fields. Many of these entries were invested elaborately and of high quality, yielding impressive results from their actual implementation.

The participants are also becoming increasingly diverse, ranging from workers, civil servants, technicians, engineers, and graduates to leading researchers and scientists, attracting many agencies and units within the province to participate.

This year's contest, with innovations in the judging process and a prestigious and quality jury board, has carefully evaluated and recommended the Organizing Committee to award 4 First Prizes, 7 Second Prizes, 13 Third Prizes, and 39 Consolation prizes to nearly 300 authors participating in the contest.

Among them, the First-Prize winning entries include: “amr.ai.vn - A comprehensive solution supporting the reading of Kirby-Bauer disk diffusion antibiotic susceptibility test results using AI for medical facilities” by a team of authors from Hue University of Medicine and Pharmacy; “The journey of Melaleuca cajuputi Powell essential oil products - from tissue culture to FSC-certified products” by a team of authors from Tien Phong Forestry State-owned Company Limited; “Design and operation of negative air pressure cleanroom system: An optimal solution for air quality in laboratories” by a team of authors from Hue University of Medicine and Pharmacy; and “Power dynamics in English classroom interactions in higher education in Vietnam from a critical discourse analysis perspective” by a team of authors of Hue University.

The Organizing Committee also awarded the Certificates of Merit to 7 collectives for their outstanding achievements in propaganda and implementation of the 14th Provincial Technical Innovation Contest - 2024.

At the same time, the Organizing Committee officially launched the 15th Provincial Technical Innovation Contest - 2025, and hoped to continue receiving active participation and support from the entire population so as to create a mass movement of scientific and technological innovation in the province.
