This art program highlighting environmental concerns at Văn Lang University, Ho Chi Minh City

The program will take place over two nights, December 14 to 15, at the Huong River Theater. The program is curated, staged, and performed by the Feelings artist group from Ho Chi Minh City. Feelings has always used culture and art to express environmental concerns, a crucial issue for the Earth, which the group hopes to widely disseminate both domestically and internationally.

The “Flowers and Garbage” program consists of four sections: “Homeland Love”, “Scatter and Gather”, “Colorful Environment”, and “Flowers and Garbage”. The program features the songs written by Trinh Cong Son, Pham Duy, and Van Cao, such as The Country Thousands of Miles Away, Nostalgia, The First Spring, Gathering Buds in Spring, and Today I feel...

Mr. Nguyen Trung Truc, representative of the Trinh Con Son family, shared: “The stage of the program is elaborate and unique, made from scrap materials. Throughout the program, there is an elegant essence, graceful form, deep thinking, and a gentle message in the style of Hue”.

The program is sponsored by Vietstar Joint Stock Company, a company operating an advanced facility for handling household waste through sorting, recycling, burning, and electricity generation in Ho Chi Minh City.

The program does not sell tickets and prioritizes invitations to universities, cultural and educational agencies, environmental and arts organizations, the media, literary and artistic associations, public institutions protecting the environment, and art lovers with an interest in the environment.

It is known that a similar program was performed at Van Lang University in Ho Chi Minh City with the participation of over 2,000 students and guests.
