Presenting gifts to Catholic families facing difficulties in Phu Nhuan Ward. |
The Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees of various wards and communes mobilized religious institutions, clergy members, notable individuals, parishioners, and local residents to participate in the movements such as the "Green Sunday", "The Pink Bloom of the Ancient Capital", environmental sanitation, and the beautification of “Cultural Green Points” in the community. Over 30 campaigns were conducted, with participation of roughly 1,600 participants. Concurrently, the committees coordinated with the localities to carry out gift distribution activities to support poor, near-poor, and disadvantaged Catholic households. More than 200 gifts were distributed, with a total expenditure of over 60 million VND.
On this occasion, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hue City also given out 434 presents to poor, near-poor, and struggling Catholic households, with a total funding of 217 million VND. The activity aims to provide support and share difficulties with the community ahead of Christmas 2024.
