The “Imperial Ancient Capital Archaeology Chronicles” is a distinctive collectible toy project that combines the cultural heritage of Hue Ancient Capital, the “blind box” art toy trend, and Nomion technology solutions with NFC (Near Field Communication) chips, pioneering the phygital (physical-digital) domain.
Inspired by iconic treasures of the Nguyen Dynasty, the project offers not only an engaging collecting experience but also sparks a love and pride for national history among the younger generation. Each collectible item enables toy collectors to uncover historical narratives through a surprising and vivid “archaeological” journey by simply tapping a smartphone against the toy.

According to Mr. Hoang Viet Trung, Director of HMCC, the “Imperial Ancient Capital Archaeology Chronicles” project opens significant prospects for developing Vietnam’s cultural industry. The event marks an important milestone in preserving and promoting the cultural heritage of Hue specifically and Vietnam generally. “This project is pioneering in integrating technology with heritage, establishing a model for exploiting heritage copyrights to foster cultural industries, and capturing the attention of young people and history enthusiasts,” said Mr. Trung.
The seminar, titled "Utilizing Heritage Copyrights - A Sustainable Path for Developing Vietnam’s Cultural Industry", was held in the event. It featured representatives from various organizations, cultural experts, and young history enthusiasts who are interested in the application of technology.
