| Hue will host high-altitude fireworks displays at four locations to ring in the New Year of the Snake. |
These displays will take place in the city center and in three districts: A Luoi, Phong Dien, and Phu Loc.
In addition to the fireworks, various activities are planned under the theme “Celebrating a Renewed Nation, the Glorious Party, and the Year of the Snake.” Highlights include a New Year’s Eve art program at the space in front of Quoc Học High School for the Gifted on Le Loi Street from 7:30 PM to 9:30 PM on January 28th, 2025, and a New Year’s Eve art performance at Ngo Mon Square from 9:30 PM on January 28th, 2025, to 12:15 AM on January 29th, 2025.
Other celebrations will include incense and flower offerings to commemorate the 95th anniversary of the founding of Communist Party of Vietnam, organizing cultural and traditional games, sports activities in districts and towns, doing community clean-up campaigns, festive decorations, and a tree-planting campaign to mark the Lunar New Year.
The province has also instructed relevant agencies and organizations to ensure the timely distribution of gifts from the President and the province to policy beneficiaries. Additional events include media gatherings, meetings with intellectuals and veterans of the revolutionary movement of different periods, and hosting receptions for international guests.
