The 2024-2025 exam will take place over two days, December 25th and 26th. Thua Thien Hue has 108 students across 11 teams competing in subjects including Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Informatics, History, Geography, Literature, English, French, and Japanese. Among them, 107 students are from Quoc Hoc High School for the Gifted, together with one student from Nguyen Sinh Cung High School.
The 2024 - 2025 National Excellent Student Exam is conducted in accordance with the National Excellent Student Examination Regulations outlined in Circular No. 17/2023/TT-BGDĐT issued on October 10th, 2023, by the Minister of Education and Training (MOET). The content follows the 2018 National General Education Curriculum.
This year, the exam has 68 examination councils, with 6,482 participants nationwide, an increase of 663 students compared to the 2023-2024 academic year. This is the first year MOET has implemented the transportation of exam materials via the system of the Government Cipher Department nationwide, ensuring efficiency and security.
The Department of Education and Training (DOET) and Quoc Hoc High School for the Gifted have coordinated with relevant agencies to ensure the exam is conducted safely, seriously, and in compliance with regulations. They have also prepared adequate facilities, including foreign language and IT practical rooms, to provide optimal conditions for students to perform well in their exams.
The results are expected to be announced by the end of January 2025.
