Delegation of Planning and Investment Ministry works with the province

On the afternoon of July 4th, the delegation of Planning and Investment Ministry led by Deputy Minister Dao Quang Thu had a working session with the provincial People's Committee on the situation of socio-economic development in the first 6 months of 2017 and implementing public investment capital in the province.

In the first 6 months of 2017, the province's socio-economic performance was satisfactory, with many targets fulfilling the plan. Gross domestic product (GDP) was estimated to rise by 7.44%. Export reached USD 395 million, increasing by 23.93%. Average consumer price index rose by 4.62% over the same period of 2016; the total retail sales of goods and consumer service revenue were estimated at VND 17,095 billion, growing by 8.87%.
