At the meeting, Budianto Liman - Chief Executive Officer of the Jababeka Group - Indonesia, introduced the field of operation and investment capacity of the Jababeka Group-Indonesia. According to Mr. Liman, the Jababeka Group was established in 1989 as the first urban industrial complex in Indonesia as well as a pioneer in developing the industrial cities, including industrial parks, residential and trade areas, public transport network, shopping malls and entertainment facilities... Through research in Thua Thien Hue, the Group wished to study the investment project of urban, industrial and service complex at the Chan May - Lang Co economic zone and other local industrial zones.
Introducing the potentials, strengths and prioritized areas to attract investments for development of the province, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Van Cao welcomed the Jababeka Group and looked forward to co-investment in urban infrastructure, service and industry development in the Chan May - Lang Co economic zone. Thua Thien Hue province will create opportunities for the Group to survey, study and invest in the project of urban-industrial-service complex in the Chan May-Lang Co economic zone in line with the approved planning and the investment demand of the Group.
