Also at the meeting, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee Bui Thanh Ha highly appreciated the press’ ideas so that provincial leaders and administrations at all levels could understand more about issues arising at grassroots levels to find solutions. In addition to focusing on deeply propagandizing socio-economic aspects of the province, the Permanent Deputy Secretary expected the journalists to contribute more ideas and consultancy so that the province could more develop in tourism, clean agriculture and new countryside, as well as to build a civilized urban lifestyle; actively fight against corruption and participate in Party building. Moreover, the monthly press conference also needs to change in the faster and more effective direction.
The Provincial Department of Propaganda and Training asked the press agencies and journalists of the province to focus on propagandizing the tasks and solutions to improve the business environment; arranging for business innovation; propagandizing about the sea and island borders. The contest on the history of Vietnam-Laos special relations; 3rd APEC Senior Officials Meeting as well as encouraging and motivating cadres, party members and people to participate in the national press on party building... are also the contents need to be propagandized.
